Vacation rentals accumulate more trash more often than the normal residence. New families large and small check-in for days at a time sometimes to full cans that were either not put out by guests, not taken by the local trash company or not emptied by the cleaning company.
When it’s a problem
When trash day is the day of or day after check-in and the cleaner brings the can out it’s not so bad. The new guest can put trash in the can if there is room or they can bring the can back up after its picked up.
The problem that occurs all to often though is the mid-week check-ins and same day quick-turns. Trash day is Monday let’s just say. Guests leave on Sunday. The cleaner puts out the can(s). Guests check-in Monday through Wednesday and fill up the can. New guests check-in Wednesday through Sunday and they arrive to a full can AND TRASH DAY IS NOT FOR ANOTHER 6 DAYS!
